Welcome to Kitty Corner! We like to refer to our courtesy listings page as Kitty Corner because it is a special corner of our website where we help current cat owners who have to part with their companion for one reason or another find loving new homes for their cats. We believe all pets deserve to be loved and cared for—for life—and that includes our feline friends!
Courtesy listings are an additional service RFL provides free of charge. Please note that the cats listed are not rescued or in possession of RFL— this service is strictly provided to help current owners find new, loving homes for their kitties.
If you are interested in one of the purr-babies listed below and would like to receive more information, please send your request to adopt@rescuedforlife.org. To start the adoption process, please fill out the Adoption Application. Once your application is approved, a meet and greet will be arranged between you and the current owner to afford everyone the chance to meet and go over any questions and concerns.
If everyone agrees that the adoption would result in a good match, and the parties wish to move forward, an Adoption Contract will be signed by the owner and the adopter. This guarantees both parties agree to the transition of the pet’s care and ensures that the kitty will go to a home where it will be properly loved and cared for. Please understand that, if the Adoption Contract is violated, the current owner has the right to reclaim the cat. The adoption fee is non-refundable and goes to the current owner to cover any expenses.
